College Basketball TV Schedule This Weekend: Dates, Times, and Channel

It is time to turn the page from college football to college basketball, and the eyes of the collegiate sports world will be on basketball this weekend, with conference play taking center stage. The list of meaningful games is long, and there will be no shortage of choices every weekend from now until March.

College Basketball TV Schedule This Weekend: Dates, Times, and Channel

Michigan State at Illinois – Friday, January 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET – FS1

Michigan State got a big win over the Michigan Wolverines this past weekend, and Illinois knocked off Wisconsin at home. Both teams are squarely in the NCAA Tournament picture, making this an important mid-January clash.

Kentucky at Tennessee – Saturday, January 14 at 12:00 p.m. ET – ESPN

For the second straight Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats hit the road to play a top-ten team in the SEC. This time, it is conference favorite Tennessee playing host to Big Blue Nation. Kentucky has struggled against top-tier opponents recently, and the Volunteers are one of the favorites to win the league and secure a number-one seed.

Kansas State at TCU – Saturday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET

No one thought Kansas State would be featured on any “must-watch” list during the 2023 season. However, the Wildcats have excelled under first-year coach Jerome Tang and are now ranked in the top 15. The Big 12 is loaded with good teams, and while Kansas is the favorite to win the league, these are two of the contenders hoping to battle the Jayhawks for supremacy.

Iowa State at Kansas – Saturday, January 14 at 4:00 p.m. ET – ESPN+

The Kansas Jayhawks play host to another pleasant surprise, the 14th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones. Having two ranked teams duke it out at Phog Allen Fieldhouse makes for a good afternoon.

Marquette at Xavier – Sunday, January 15 at 12:00 p.m. ET – FOX

Both teams are in the Top 25, with the Golden Eagles squeaking in at number 25. Shaka Smart versus Sean Miller (the Musketeers are now ranked 12th) is an excellent coaching matchup. The Big East is wide open, with UConn slipping early in conference play.
