Remaining at the top of the rushing yards leaderboard is Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders. Jacobs carried the ball 27 times for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, falling just short of his seventh 100-yard rushing performance of the season. After having his fifth-year option declined this past offseason, the 24-year-old has responded with the finest season of his career and is due for a big pay raise come free agency.
Week 14’s top rushing performance came from the Eagles’ Miles Sanders, who ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns as Philadelphia steamrolled the New York Giants 48-22, improving to 12-1 on the season. Like Jacobs, Sanders will be a free agent this offseason and should have plenty of suitors following the first 1,000+ yard rushing campaign of his career.
